No fewer than four persons, alleged to be friends, are feared dead and seven others seriously injured when gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen stormed a local bar popularly called ‘Burukutu Joint’ at Gindin Akwati in Gashish district of Barkin Ladi Local Government of Plateau State
The gunmen, it was gathered, stormed the joint and opened fire on the people drinking inside the beer parlour.
The seven injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Plateau Hospital in Jos.
A source in the area said the bar was attacked late Sunday night.
Confirming the incidence the spokesman of the state police command, Mr Emmanuel Abuh said the Police got the report of the attack on Monday morning.
