The popular evening newspaper PMNews, lagos office building, has been partially raised down by inferno which occured at the late hours of wednesday night.
According to eye withness report, the fire started as a result of electrical fault from its power switch.
Though the main office which is located on the first floor of the building, was not badly affected, but the inferno raised down the entire second floor and properties worth millions of naira were lost.
As at the time of filing in this report, the Lagos state Emergency Fire service were already on ground to avert further casualties, while the Lagos state police command were on site to maintain peace.
In an attempt to speak with some of the staffs on duty, it proved abortive as they all declined to speak.
Also, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (Lasema) officials were also at the site of the
incident to assertain the level of casualty.
