Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka begins one-week visit to China

 Renowned literary scholar and Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka on Monday, October 29, 2012 began a one-week visit to China.





The celebrated Nigerian poet and playwright is visiting China on the invitation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Renmin University. The respected professor while in China will give three speeches in the nation’s capital Beijing, and briefly tour Shanghai and Suzhou.

During his one-week visit, he will meet and interact with Chinese such as Yan Lianke, Xu Zechen and Zhang Yueran.
